Thanks for the encouragement! I...Hey Julie!!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm so grateful. It's been a long journey to reach this point. Even though it was at least 6-8 years ago that I began to hear whispers of ministry...I didn't have the revelation mentioned in the blog until several months ago. Prior to that I was completely bound by fears of seeming showy or pushy or just know-it-all-ish.

There have still been steps I've had to grow through since that moment, but they've all been steps I've taken with an assurance. I heard John MacArthur say that once while preaching a revival there was no "revival". Realizing something was wrong, he prayed, repented, fasted, wept, and begged God for answers as to why there was no response. God's answer to him was that John MacArthur's job was to deliver the message...period. God gave him several scriptures to let him know that John MacArthur was not the one being rejected, it was Christ that the hearers were rejecting. The newsletter from my friend was followed up by hearing that message by John MacArthur. I got it...loud and clear. You know, I had the knowledge that this 'wasn't about me'--I've used that phrase thousands of times over the last years & genuinely believed it--somehow it had just not all come together like it did for me several months back.

So, a new layer of understanding has been revealed to me...understanding I didn't even know I lacked...and I'm excited. It has taken me a couple of months to put together my Bio but as soon as it is finished I'll be sending it out. I'd be thrilled for you to include anything at all that God leads you to put in your blog.

Thanks again for the encouragement Julie. It's so nice of you to take the time!

Much love-
angieAngie Wainrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10966345460113556137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-253180421230232005.post-78648619469345792752011-06-02T20:33:48.450-04:002011-06-02T20:33:48.450-04:00Angie,
Hey there--I just read over much of your b...Angie,

Hey there--I just read over much of your blog. I just wanted to send you a word of encouragement. God has a plan that is your plan. It won't look, or be like anyone else's. It could explode into something big, or God might simply have you speak in small groups or churches. But no matter where God takes you, you just continue to give God the Glory. You just stay ready and available to be used in His way and in His time.

And remember when you do "mess up" (like I do :) )--that God tells us to come back with sincere repentance and He will wipe our slate clean again.

What an exciting day--I will be glad tell others about your new ministry. Would it be okay If I blog about you someday in the future? Here's my blog http://godisuptosomething.blogspot.com/ Let me know if it's okay to post about you here.

Julie
julie@ageeweb.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
